Update on Baby Owen
I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers for baby Owen. God has answered them in a BIG way! Last week when I photographed Owen at Children’s Hospital the prognosis was not good – at birth Owen was deprived of oxygen for a long time and was not expected to live, at least not without severe brain damage. However, this little baby has stumped the medical experts. Owen had a structural MRI and there are no dead spots in his brain (which his Doctors were expecting to see) and the blood flow to his brain is good. The MRI images looked like the brain of a healthy baby. Owen’s survival is now expected to be 99%. This is nothing short of a miracle. His family is still awaiting the results of an impulse MRI which will provide more information about his brain function. Please continue to pray for Owen, that God would continue to heal his brain.
