This is Seattle’s Youth Symphony’s Benji Bae, an extremely talented young man.
Benji recently preformed in the Bellevue Philharmonic concert series
and needed a few head shots for the program. I don’t normally get to
photograph musicians and I was thrilled at the opportunity. I love working with babies but it is nice to get to listen to some classical music inseatd of crying for a change. Benji will shortly be auditioning at all the major music conservatories and universities I am sure he will have his pic as to where he studies. Look for him in the next few years at a concet hall near you.

Those shots are great, Emily! He looks like an intense player – I love the first shot with his eyes closed. It’s like he’s in rapture with his instrument and we get to peek! Beautiful!
Great shots Emily!!
OOOOO, VERY cool! I’d love to have heard him play.
These are amazing photos, you are very talented.
