The birth of Lucia Roisin Espinosa {Seattle Home Birth Photographer}

Beautiful Lucia was born Wednesday morning November 17th. I have honestly never witnessed a birth quite like this, for the most part it was nearly silent for the entire birth with some soft music playing in the background. I carried Talia in the moby wrap and while Lucia was being born Talia was the noisiest one in the room with her “Gulp! Gulp! Gulp!” eating sounds (she is a very noisy eater). Lucia’s birth was so serene and beautiful, what a gentle way to be welcomed into the world. I love photographing home births more than any other type of birth! Welcome baby Lucia!

  1. Oh Emily, these are beautiful. I absolutely LOVE candlelight at births. 🙂 I photographed a birth with a 9lb 6oz baby on Monday night and I was like ‘holy smokes’ when she came out! She looked 3 months old! lol! These really are gorgeous girl! 🙂
