sadly it’s not the first time I have missed a birth. This little girl decided to come fast and during Seattle rush hour traffic. It’s so frustrating to be stuck in a line of commuters knowing that you are likely missing a birth. The nice thing about her timing (i.e. not at 3am) was that her older siblings were able to visit right after dinner and meet there new sister and I was able to get photos of that meeting. 
lots of births on the schedule this summer. Jessica Peterson and I are scheduling out vacations carefully so that someone is always in town. We have been working on a website update for www.seattlebirthphotographers.com and it’s about half done. We still have some availability in September and October but if you are expecting this fall make sure and book soon.
