longing for the sunshine

I am running out of creative posing ideas for a 2 month old. There is only so much you can do with a baby that is to big to curl up and to little to really hold himself up.

I am beginning to notice that all of my photos are starting to look the same….
(Simon really looks like my little brother in the next photo)

I have some more outdoor stuff planned but the whether is just not cooperating. I am going to make and effort to get more creative indoors.

for starters here are some little baby feet.

yum! don’t you just want to kiss them?

and though this last one has a lot of technical problems but I am just throwing out there any way. We were really too close to the window to make the back lighting work but I still like the way he is looking at me : )

  3. Just amazing…you don’t have to be creative Emily, because he is perfect all on his own. Wow!

Amazing shots even if you don’t think they’re creative. He is absolutely beautiful!

His smile is just captivating and makes one do foolish things just to get another smile. From one who’s been there. Of course I never get tired of seeing his many poses. Grandma

  9. These are so beautiful! I can’t believe how fast he is growing. I will keep my fingers crossed for nice weather to head your way so you can do some outdoor stuff! This is such a hard age to do anything really creative with, but I’m sure you will think of something, you are a creative kind of gal! 🙂

  11. these are so precious! love the shot of his little toes!

  12. Yea, there is not a lot you can do with a 2month old. does he have head control for a bumbo yet? I know for Nate, I like to get him in the bumbo chair for some “upright” shots. Also some of him under his activity gym, looking down at him. Lay on the floor while he’s on his tummy and that provides a different perspective. Tubby pics, pics on the changing table, in his crib or co-sleeper….those are just a few ideas I’ve got.

These are all so wonderful but I truly LOVE the last one. Makes me sad that I don’t have a picture like that with my girls when they were little. You are so lucky – cherish that photo!
