Just finishing up photos from 2010…

This is Simon helping me make dinner last week by cutting up carrots. He is using one of those kids knives from Pampered Chef which are great but he does eventually give up because you have to saw with it and it’s tedious and not very effective. (I would not be cutting up all the carrots for dinner with this sucker). I am honestly thinking of letting him try out a real knife since is he very careful and good with this kid knife. We were making french lentil stew.

  1. I have heard that those colorful tiny ceramic knives are good for kids to use. They are sharp enough that they don’t need to saw, and about the same size as the kid knife.
