Monozygotic is the correct term for identical twins – and boy were these boys identical. Only a few ounces different at birth and their faces were so similar I was wisely instructed to keep them same boy (J) on the left in every photo and G on the right. I finally decided that J might have a slightly different forehead but other than that they are very difficult to tell apart. I am sure this will change as their personalities come out and as they grow but I think it was very wise of their mommies to institute the J on left G on right rule. And it kept me on my toes too because I normally just move babies into a pose based on whatever seems to require the least amount of waking up.
