Today is our 5th wedding anniversary. It really blows my mind that we have already been married that long it seems like it was only yesterday. To celebrate I made another slide show. You can view it HERE. There are a lot of snapshots and goofy photos from the last 5 years in it – but hey it’s us. If you have been reading my blog for long you have probably already seen a lot of them. And since I know I will get comments on it,yes, I look young for my age. For the record I was 22 when we got married. Myles and I met in College, he was a Theta Chi, I was a Tri Delta or houses were across the street from each other. We dated a little over a year and we were engaged our senior year and married the summer after we graduated. Myles, you are my best friend and can’t imagine life without you – Thanks for the best 5 years of my life.
. . .
emily, that was absolutely adorable! congratulations to you & myles on 5 years. time does fly. i was also 22 when todd and i got married. we hit ten years this past june. really hard to believe…
PS love that red dress with the spaghetti straps!
What a cute video and a great song. You guys are such a sweet couple and a sweet family. Congratulations on five years! What a blessing.
Happy Anniversary!! Isn’t it amazing how fast time flies? DH and I will celebrate our 10th anniv in October. I can’t believe it!
Awe, happy anniversary. I got married at 22 as well and remember getting a lot of the same comments about me looking young. We’ll be celebrating our 10 year next year…it is amazing how quickly it goes by. Thanks for the peek into your life.
Congrats!! That was a great slide show. I think it’s just beginning to shift, but I too, have always been told I look young. When I was 20, JUST by looks, someone thought I was 14?! That was irritating! Of course, once we started talking that totally changed, but I often wonder if people think Lacy was planned…haha!! I think since I had her, plus the stress-packed first year, it aged me. ANYWAY, the slide show was great and I really enjoyed all the photos, and being goofy is the way to go!:)
that is a great photo. So sweet.
That is such a beautiful thing to say! it brought tears to my eyes. I wish you both many, many more years (and babies).
Oodles, Cara
ooo. I forgot to tell you…John and I had our 10th anniversary on August 8th…how ironic is that?!
