The Great Christmas Tree Hunt 2009

Our tradition every year is to cut our own Christmas tree. I love it. Tree farms smell incredibly good and you get to drink hot cider and support local farmers. This year Simon is old enough to somewhat understand the absurdity of cutting down a tree, tying it to the car and putting it up in our living room – he had a blast. Oh the magic of Christmas!

P.S. since I know someone will ask – I did not make the hat (are you kidding I can’t knit). I bought it from lovebugknits on Etsy.

  1. Oh my. I have five small kids of my own. And they are cute. But your Simon is darling! The first shot is my favorite.

  2. Looks like you went on the perfect day. It drizzled on us a bit yesterday, but it was still fun. Love that first shot!

  3. You should definitely use that shot of the 3 of you for your Christmas card this year, way cute and the setting is perfect!

  4. Beautiful! Christmas is MAGICAL in so many ways 🙂
