According to scientist Hans Brückl 66% of newborns suck their thumbs. This number seems really high to me. While I do see a lot of babies sucking their thumbs it’s not usually until they are older. Most newborns lack the coordination to get their thumbs in their mouths but when they do they all seem to love it! This little guy was no exception. I loved photographing him!
