and Families too! {Seattle Child and Family Photographer}

I met this great little family while attending The Birth Zone birth classes while pregnant with Simon. Actually back then they were just a couple. We were both patients at the Puget Sound Birth Center and even after our birth classes were over we always seemed to have our prenatal appointments scheduled at or around the same time so we were always bumping into each other. In the end Simon was born 2 weeks early and their Evangeline 2 weeks late, so the running joke was that Simon stole Evangeline’s birth date (he was born on her due date Feb 1st). Well here we are a year later with one year-olds. And as you can see they got an exceptionally cute one.

And, yes we even ventured outside for a few shots. It’s getting to be that time of year again when it’s actually warm enough to venture out-of-doors for photos. The cherry blossoms are are full bloom this week and I am hoping to take Simon out for some Easter photos. I always book more families around this time time of year and even now people are starting to think about the gorgeous fall color that happens the last 2 weeks of October and the first 2 weeks of November. I have already booked some of those fall sessions and I am forced to keep the number that I do very limited because of weather.  Usually one or more of the weekends will be rained out and I will have to reschedule. For this reason I only do 8 weekend sessions and 4 week day sessions during those 4 weeks.  So if you really want a fall session you better book soon. From November 15th – January 1 2010 I will only be doing newborn and prescheduled maternity sessions.
