The Beautiful Northwest – {Seattle Photographer}

DSC_7159

This may seem like a cute idea, but Sebastian was less than thrilled about it. Actually this was one of the hardest shoots ever. I even had to resort to lunges – babies love it when you do lunges (don’t believe me – just try it with a fussy baby) My quads were very sore the next day. To start off the session I was stung by a wasp just as soon as I stepped into the field (I was stung on my butt). It was probably too cold for this little guy to be comfortable, and he thought that being put down in the carriage was a really bad idea. He sure made me work for it. So, Sebastian – I hope you appreciate these images once your a bit older.

  1. You did so well for our climate! Gorgeous! Sorry about your bum….I have finally just taken outside off my website as an option for newborns…. our weather is just so cold & unpredictable 99% of the time!

  2. Ack, that setting is gorgeous!!! What beeeautiful light and scenery. You’d never know this baby was unhappy, so you’re definitely a PRO.

  3. These are stunning! Stumbled across your website on etsy… love your work! I hear these pics calling out for huge canvases.

  4. Beautiful pictures. What a story though, stung by a wasp at the beginning of the session!

  5. Wow Emily! These are just breathtaking. They definitely call for huge canvases. And Heather is right – you’d never guess the baby was unhappy. Beautiful!
